Workshops and retreats offer a more in-depth opportunity to engage with the Deep River material and to experience the support of a group that gathers with the shared intention to step away from the demands of daily life and draw from inner resources for renewal.
The format for workshops and retreats is tailored to the needs of particular groups. The duration ranges from 2 hours to day-long to weekly for 7 weeks. I regularly offer day-long and 7-week groups for women in the Boston area. Please contact me if you are interested in sponsoring a half-day or full day workshop or retreat in other locations.
The 7-week group format is also offered as a distance course, via web+teleconference. For more detailed information about the distance course, CLICK HERE . Please see the Events page to register for a current course.

A sampling of Participant Comments:
The retreat was wonderful, hard, restorative, disarming and good. I was happy to be among such amazing women, led by you! Thank you! E.R.
Being a participant in this group has been a life-changing experience for me. I’ve had the opportunity to meet some incredible women, and learn from them. Abby has offered each of us in the group permission to make changes, in whatever big or small way we would like… Taking Abby’s class has allowed me to begin to locate the voice inside me that wants to enjoy life more. I am learning that I owe it to myself to pay attention to what I want out of life, rather than what I think others want me to do. I don’t have to do 100 things at once anymore… H.S.
Thanks so much for the wonderful retreat yesterday. You gathered such an amazing group of women and I think we all experienced something quite unusual. I did not want to let another day end before thanking you! A.K.
It's great that there is so much interest in your teaching these days, not only because we love having Women’s Well courses fill but also because it means the lives of women are getting less busy and frantic, one woman at a time, thanks to you!! Edith Griffin, Women’s Well administrator.
